Smugglers Notch Zipline

Monday, February 7th, 2011

Smuggs has been a long time client and now friend. My kids have grown up and learned how to be excellent skiers and boarders thanks to Smuggs. It amazes me how they continue to grow and add new things for people to enjoy. Last week I shot and rode the new ArborTrek Canopy Tour Zipline, it was great to shoot and even better to enjoy. Every once and a while I had to put the camera in my pack and just enjoy the run.

Mediapad PRO APP Launch at Photoplus Expo-NYC

Sunday, October 31st, 2010

It has been a while since a post….. well this is the reason.  When the Ipad came out and I saw my video and still images on it I was floored.  After a few weeks of trying to find a cohesive way to show my content I still was not happy.  Over the years I have worked with so many talented people in the advertising world, one in particular got out of the biz a few years ago and started an App Incubator for smart phone apps, enter Dave Swartz who I worked with at Mullen Advertising Boston and DGWB in LA.

I called Dave seven months ago at MEDL MOBILE  and then sent him some simple line drawings…………. this past week my App went live on the apple app store.  Four days later I was at the Photoplus Expo in NYC in the Javits center to launch the app,  26,000 people strong its the largest show of its kind in North America.  The response was amazing.

Look for Mediapad Pro on Facebook and find the how-to videos.

I would like to thank everyone for the support getting this idea to market.

Thanks hurricane Earl for the surfing lesson

Friday, September 3rd, 2010

What a great day. Worked with a creative director from the west coast this week, all his talk about surfing inspired me.  Went out and learned how to surf but also took the Canon 5D with the Ikelite underwater case.  Bobby Fenton of East Coast Hui gave us lessons and the boards, look him up and go to Nantasket beach in Hull. http://www.eastcoasthui.com

Gravestones for sale…. cheap

Tuesday, August 17th, 2010

This is the story of always having a camera on hand. I have been keeping a second 5d body in my car or in my bag. I don’t know what to do with this
image, any suggestions? Maybe it should go in locations when the website revise goes live? I just had to turn the car around and go back to this spot.

Portfolio and Website Revise

Tuesday, July 27th, 2010

With help from my long time friend and creative influence, Nancy Bagdonas, we are about ready to overhaul the website and portfolios.  This is the hardest part of being a photographer.  Decided to go old school and print it all out and be able to see it all at one time.--

Great to shoot outside of your comfort zone.  This was something that proved to be fun and good for the client.
