Its always great to shoot somewhere new. I have wanted to get back to Austin for years for the people, food, music, and locations. My friend and photographer Frank Curry helped me out and Janet Henderson my great producer and friend pulled everything together as usual. Enjoyed the best BBQ ever at SaltLick and caught Junior Brown live on stage in a small club. Wish the weather was better but will get back when its warm.
Another exciting trip to NYC for the PhotoPlus show. Great week showing the new book and reel, then three days at the show. It has really paid off with MediaPad Pro moving up into the top 20 paid photography apps. The reviews keep coming….. dpreview is a great site that Pro’s use for unbiased gear reviews, Here’s what they have to say about the app.

Many of you know that over a year ago I started developing an app for the iPad. The process was way more involved an stressful than I ever thought it would be. Over the past year we have had several updates and continued to push the app. This week I got early word that PDN ranked it the best way to show multimedia work on a tablet.
This is a huge honor and should really push the app up on the charts, thanks for all the support teamwork from MEDLMOBILE too.

Shooting TV and print at the same time is the way things are going, clients love the convenience. Throw in six locations, talent, thirty MPH winds and flooding rain and then you have two interesting days of shooting. Many thanks to my crew that loaded and unloaded all day in that driving rain. The TV and Print will launch in Sept and air all over New England. Here are some behind the scenes…….
Really excited about another new partnership in my career. Tim Mitchell and I have been in touch for several years and until a few months ago, never really connected. The last quarter of 2011 is going to be busy with all kinds of new promotions and announcements, offering clients still and video with full TV/video production support form Element Productions is the future of my business. Shooting next week for what will be a major launch of this teamwork, directing TV shooting Print and Web for the same client.
Three shoots last week. Feeling business coming around a bit finally, do you? Great crew support all week kept me going, even when the temps were in the high 90′s with crazy humidity. Exterior location shoot, then studio shoot at Quixote, wrapped the week on location in an amazing penthouse overlooking Boston.
